“Gender is One of the Most Robust Determinants of Transport Choice” was the message from the International Transport Forum (ITF) 2019 consultation on  gender and transport with 34 transport stakeholders.

TInnGO project too, considers gender as a robust determinant of transport choice and  includes gender in data collection and analysis to reflect differences in travel behavior, while implementing its scientific workplan.

Answers were provided to questions like: Is it still necessary to focus on women in transport in 2020? is female representation in the transport industry is a priority of the ITF and how this is materialized? what about personal safety on public transport means?
